Brief Bio: I am a mother, musician, and multi-dimensional artist. A Gentle Warrior. I reside in the Hampton Roads in Virginia with my husband, children, and extended family - natives to Virginia and North Carolina for at least 250 years. I am mostly human (we have been here since the beginning of our time).
I naturally study human relationships, interactions, and body language. I am an introvert. I empathize greatly with those suffering from illnesses, especially invisible ones. I was diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder (formerly Asperger's Syndrome) and ADHD in 2020 - as well as Alopecia in 1993. I take time to understand the impact neurodivergency and has on what is commonly known as "standard" living. Many of our family and friends are neurodivergent.
I attend FIL in Virginia Beach, VA; which has encouraged me to earn wings in community service, spiritual musicianship, and nurture humanity with others. I am enrolled in the Inter-faith Seminary program there, to deepen my understanding of the Holy Spirit. In addition to learning practices that heal others & honor Mother Earth.
Since healing our community starts with each of us, I support the reintegration of effective, alternative healing options - with kindness and cultural competency. I am actively pursuing training as an End-of-Life Doula.
I have many roles and different names, but you can call me Starshine.
